About
Mir Sazzat Hossain
Research Assistant at Center for Computational & Data Sciences, Independent University, Bangladesh.
Bio
A highly motivated and aspiring researcher with a strong background in deep learning, with recent work centered on multimodal learning. Over the past few years, I have actively contributed to the field, publishing research articles in top-tier venues such as ACL and WACV. My primary research interests lie in vision-language models. I have also worked on domain adaptation and federated learning, and continue to explore these areas with strong interest.
Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant at the Center for Computational & Data Sciences (CCDS) at Independent University, Bangladesh. My recent work explores multimodal alignment, efficient adaptation, and generative approaches, including diffusion models and constrained generation. I am actively seeking Ph.D. opportunities in Computer Science, with an emphasis on vision-language models, domain adaptation, and generative models.
Education

Independent University, Bangladesh
Bachelor of Science ยท BS in Computer Science and Engineering ยท Minor in Engineering Mathematics
Completed my undergraduate studies with a CGPA of 3.64 (Math & CS: 3.81). Participated in extracurricular activities such as hackathons, olympiads, and programming contests. Notably, I have represented IUB in the ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional competition in 2019.
